Orange Beach Freedom Fest Coming Up
The Sixth Annual Orange Beach Freedom Fest is coming to The Wharf in Orange Beach on September 19-20. The family friendly festival, presented by the City of Orange Beach, will feature live music, food vendors, local arts and crafts, classic cars and patriotic celebration. Patriotic booths and veterans’ organizations will also be on hand. A “Kids’ Zone” will be hosted by the Orange Beach Police Department. Like last year, the festival coincides with Bama Coast Cruisin’s fall show, bringing dozens of classic cars and hot rods to Main Street at The Wharf both days. Saturday highlights include a motorcycle and Jeep rally organized by the Marshals Mardi Gras group. The Gulf Coast Gun Collectors Association will host its third annual Firearms Show at the Orange Beach Event Center. Cost of admission for the firearms show is $10 (cash) or $11 (credit), with free entry for children 10 and under. There is no admission charge for the festival and car show. Parking will be available at The Wharf, with volunteers onsite to assist and collect donations for Orange Beach schools.
