Parrot Head Event Coming To Maritime Museum

The Mobile Bay Parrot Head Club has announced Party with a Purpose for September 10 at 5-7 p.m. at the Maritime Museum of the Gulf in Mobile. Joined by members of the Son of a Sailor Committee, the club will inform attendees of what Parrot Heads are and give details on the Son of a Sailor Fest, coming to Downtown Mobile on September 20. There will also be some information from the museum on the under-construction Jimmy Buffett exhibit. The free event is open to the public, and there will be entertainment by Matt McCoy.
