Saenger Seasonal Shows This Month

AL.com has announced several seasonal shows taking place at the Saenger Theatre Mobile in December. Texas songwriter Robert Earl Keen’s Lights, Camera, Christmas! will take place on December 7 at 7:30 p.m. The show will also feature Alabama singer-songwriter Taylor Hunnicutt. Roman Street & Friends Christmas will take place on December 8 at 7:30 p.m. Roman Street is a fusion band founded in the Mobile area by brothers Noah and Josh Thompson. The Mobile Symphony Orchestra’s Christmas Around the World is taking place on December 14 at 7:30 p.m. and on December 15 at 2:30 p.m. Michael W. Smith with Riley Clemmons will present Every Christmas on December 17 at 7:30 p.m. Mobile Ballet’s The Nutcracker will be held on December 21 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Finally, Charlie Brown Jazz X-Mas Concert featuring the Joe Cool Trio and friends is set for December 28 at 7 p.m. The band will perform Vince Guaraldi’s classic soundtrack of A Charlie Brown Christmas then be joined by guests for more music. This year’s show will feature Atlanta vocalist Ansley Stewart.
