Taco Cook-Off Coming To Central Midtown

The Central Midtown Family Festival & Taco Tailgate Cook-Off is taking place on September 13 at 10 a.m.-3 p.m., rain or shine, at 1260 Dauphin Street in Mobile. The block party-style event will see local chefs and home cooks competing to be “Taco Champion.” There will also be arts, crafts, activities for children, live music, a community market, Alabama and Auburn game-day zones and a costume contest. All proceeds will support senior job reintegration and local nonprofits in Central Midtown. General admission is $25, a family pack is $80 and VIP passes (including early entry, extra taco tasting tickets, priority voting privileges, access to a VIP lounge, a T-shirt and a swag bag) are $60.
