$1 Million Allocated To Brookley By The Bay Design

The Mobile City Council has agreed to set aside $1 million for the Brookley by the Bay property, Mayor Sandy Stimpson announced. The funding “will allow us to move forward with design work, so we can begin to get a firmer idea of the challenges and possibilities for this beautiful 97-acre property,” he added. The design will focus on increasing public access to waterways in the form of a park. The city plans to seek public input on the design process, which the mayor hopes will be complete by the end of 2022.
