$7.5 Million Granted For BFM Development

The Mobile Airport Authority (MAA) has announced that it has been awarded $7,510,599 through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Airport Infrastructure Grant program. These funds will directly support the ongoing development of the new terminal at Mobile International Airport in Mobile. “This grant reinforces our commitment to building a state-of-the-art terminal at Mobile International Airport,” said Chris Curry, MAA president. ”The new terminal is key to accommodating future growth and driving economic development in the region. We’re excited about our partnership with [the Federal Aviation Administration] as we continue to work towards the completion of our transformative project.” The investment is part of MAA’s broader strategy to enhance infrastructure, prepare for future demand and support economic growth in Mobile and the surrounding areas.
