Applications Open For Mobile’s Tourism Ambassadors Program

Visit Mobile is seeking Mobilians to join its newest class of tourism ambassadors. Its Tourism Ambassadors Program teaches participants about what Mobile has to offer, including history and attractions, so they can better share their story with others. This cohort starts on September 28, and the other in-person days are October 19 and November 9. Online quizzes will be emailed to participants over the course of the program. Each participant will be given admission passes to the city’s most popular attractions, and during the course, they must visit at least four on their own. Finally, each will be required to work at least one shift at a local event in the Visit Mobile welcome tent or a shift at the downtown Welcome Center. The cost is $50.
