BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. — The Baldwin County Economic Development Alliance (BCEDA) has hired Marketing Coordinator McCall Lugo and Project Manager Connor Bradford, who it says will expand “business opportunities, economic development and impact to the community.” Lugo, a native of Robertsdale and an alumna of Robertsdale High School, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in design, technology and industry from Troy University in 2016. Following graduation, she worked for Pilot Catastrophe Services, Inc. for three years in Dallas before joining the Andalusia (Alabama) Chamber of Commerce in event promotion and marketing. Bradford, a native of Fairhope, joins BCEDA after working with the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce, where he assisted with industry visits, managed economic development projects and buildings and facilitated chamber events. He also participated in the Economic Development Association of Alabama’s summer internship program with Spire Energy and worked in the University of South Alabama’s (USA) Student Government Association and athletics department. He graduated from USA in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in strategic communications and public relations.
