Christmas Tree Recycling Now Available

The City of Mobile will be offering Christmas Tree Recycling at several locations throughout the community in the coming weeks. Mobilians can drop off their Christmas tree anytime between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. until January 16, 2022. All lights, stands and decorations must be removed. The accepting locations are Tricentennial Park at 2121 Lake Drive, James Seals Park at 540 Texas Street, Baumhauer-Randle Park at 1909 Duval Street, Dog River Park at 2459 Dog River Drive North, Pinehill Recycling Center at 308 Pinehill Drive, Medal of Honor Park at 1711 Hillcrest Road and Langan Park (Municipal Park) at 4901 Zeigler Boulevard. AL.com added that at Gulf Shores’ Gulf State Park, trees stripped of all man-made decorations will be accepted through January 2022 for use in dune restoration efforts. The designated space for dropping them off is beside the dumpsters on the east side of the Beach Pavilion parking lot.
