Dauphin Island Run Announced

DAUPHIN ISLAND, Ala. — Dauphin Island‘s Sunset Bridge 4 Mile Run – A Celebration of the Summer Solstice is planned for June 21 at 5-9 p.m. Packet pick-up, registration and food and music will be available prior to the run, which starts at 6:30 p.m. The course is between the Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo site and the apex of the Dauphin Island Bridge. Awards will be given for top male and female overall, masters, grandmasters, senior grandmasters and walkers, in addition to the top two males and females in various age groups. A post-race celebration will take place after the run to celebrate the longest day of the year. Organized by the South Mobile County Tourism Authority, the event benefits Dauphin Island & The Villages of South Mobile County.
