Drop-In Sessions For Second Line Transit Scheduled

The City of Mobile, in partnership with Via, will host a series of public information sessions this month to share details about proposed updates to the city’s public transit network. The proposed changes are expected to take effect in July and represent the next step in the evolution of Second Line Transit. City residents and transit system riders are invited to stop by anytime during three public informational meetings to learn more about the proposed network, review potential route updates, ask questions, and share feedback and insight with city and Via staff. The sessions will be held on May 13 from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at the Thomas Sullivan Community Center, May 14 from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at the West Regional Library and May 15 from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Ben May Main Library. For those unable to attend in person, the city will publish the proposed plan online beginning May 11, along with a feedback form so residents can review the updates and share their input.
