Elberta Sausage Festival Announced

The Elberta Volunteer Fire Department is holding the biannual German Sausage Festival on October 28 at 13052 Main Street in Elberta. German sausage and sauerkraut, continuous entertainment for adults and children and more than 200 arts and crafts booths will be featured. There will also be German-style filled cabbage, potato salad, goulash, red beans and rice, hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecue sandwiches, ice cream, popcorn, peanuts and baked goods. The town fundraiser expects to sell approximately 6,000 pounds of German Sausage and attract an estimated 20,000 visitors. All booth spaces are 10 by 10 ft. Regular spaces are $100 each, and spaces requiring electricity are $110. For more information, email the fire department.
