Fairhope To Get $200,000 To Fight Fentanyl

The City of Fairhope is set to receive $200,000 in federal funds to support local law enforcement’s efforts in fighting the fentanyl crisis, FOX10 reports. City leaders said U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville helped secure the funds as part of the recently signed Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2024. The money will help ensure that police in Fairhope have the necessary resources and support to fight against fentanyl and further enhance educational programs to inform the community of the risks associated with the deadly drug.
