Flightline First Takes Over Operations At Fairhope Airport

Fairhope has opened a new terminal at its H. L. “Sonny” Callahan Airport in Fairhope airport and selected New Orleans-based Flightline First as its new fixed base operator (FBO), FOX10 reports. The FBO offers aviation services for the Fairhope area. Since the airport primarily serves business travelers, Flightline officials said its competition is primarily with Mobile-based flight services. It offers concierge services for rental cars and hotels and services aircraft in a variety of ways. Its primary line of business is selling fuel. Based on the east side of Sonny Callahan Airport, Flightline has already seen fuel sales and other services increase since taking over operations six weeks ago. The new $3-million East Terminal Building that houses Flightline offers pilot lounges, conference spaces and ground support services.
