Foley Receives Award For Budget

The City of Foley finance department’s 2025 budget has won a Distinguished Budget Award from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada. This marks the fifth such consecutive award. “I am so proud of the awards that reflect the quality of our city’s financial responsibility to our citizens. It starts with our outstanding accounting department. It’s another key to being transparent and financially responsible,” Mayor Ralph Hellmich said. Foley has also received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for 11 years and received the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Report four times.
