Foley Sends Relief Supplies To Tampa

The City of Foley recently sent relief supplies for victims of Hurricane Milton to Florida following a week of collection efforts that began on October 9. City employees and volunteers loaded vehicles at Foley United Methodist Church. Church members helped with the collection effort and provided a dropoff site and materials storage. The supplies included material purchased with funds provided by the Foley City Council and items donated by the public. The vehicles dropped off the supplies at a collection point in Tampa. The convoy included two Foley Police Department vehicles, two Public Works Department vehicles and a rented covered truck driven by Public Works Department and Parks Department employees.
