Legislature Recognizes Foley Council Memebers

The Alabama State Legislature recognized three Foley City Council members whose terms concluded in November 2025. During the final council meeting of 2025, Rep. Frances Holk-Jones presented Alabama House of Representatives resolutions to Vera Quaites, Rick Blackwell and Judy Dayton, the wife of the late Richard “Dick” Dayton. Quaites and Blackwell each served 17 years on the council. Holk-Jones also presented a resolution to Judy Dayton recognizing her husband’s service. Richard Dayton died in August 2025 while completing his first term on the council.
