MAA Announces Board Leadership Change

The Mobile Airport Authority (MAA) has announced that Elliot Maisel has transitioned from his position as chairman of the board of directors to chairman emeritus. Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson previously appointed E. Luckett Robinson, II to the MAA board, where he served as vice-chairman. On December 16, the board voted to name Robinson as chairman. MAA said of him, “An engaged and dedicated board member, Robinson brings extensive experience and a steadfast commitment to advancing the mission” of MAA. Of Maisel, MAA said, “As a key member of the board, Maisel’s leadership and vision have [been] integral in guiding [MAA] through important milestones…. Having just accepted a renewal appointment from the mayor, it is Mr. Maisel’s intention to serve his full six-year term.”
