MCHD’s Murphree Featured Among 21 “Who Made A Difference”

Dr. Rendi Murphree, who oversees the Mobile County Health Department’s (MCHD) Bureau of Disease Surveillance and Control, was featured in AL.com’s "21 Alabamians who made a difference in 2021." Called “a local celebrity,” Murphree was lauded as being “the calming and reassuring face of the [MCHD’s] efforts to battle the [corona]virus in Coastal Alabama.” This is the second straight year an MCHD member has been recognized in the statewide series. Dr. Bernard H. Eichold, II, was selected in 2020.
