Call News reported that the Mobile County Commission recently awarded an $815.577.77 bid to Mobile’s John G. Walton Construction Co. for intersection improvements at Airport Boulevard and Eliza Jordan Road, a newer intersection that has seen multiple accidents and congestion. It also awarded a $108,334.50 bid to H.O. Weaver & Sons, Inc., also of Mobile, to resurface streets in Creola.
