Mobile County Commission Honors Employees

The Mobile County Commission recently honored Mobile County Absentee Election Manager Alleen Barnett and Mobile County Public School System (MCPSS) Superintendent Chresal Threadgill, Call News reports. Barnett has served in her position since 2010 and oversaw the processing of the highest number of absentee ballot applications in the county’s history. Her office hosted the completion of 10,835 onsite. Threadgill, who had been named Alabama Superintendent of the Year (BBN #11), moved MCPSS from a “C” on the state’s report card to a “B-,” while growing district leaders through a new leadership program and procuring electronic devices for students.
