Mobile International Airport Adds Airline, Direct Flight

Avelo Airlines announced exclusive nonstop service to Orlando from Mobile International Airport (BFM) on March 7 at a press conference in Mobile. Service will begin on May 31 to Orlando International Airport with a special inaugural flight, and normal operation will be twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays on Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft. Avelo is the only airline in Mobile offering nonstop service to Florida and will be the only airline serving BFM. Since taking flight on April 28, 2021, Avelo has flown more than 1.8 million customers on more than 15,000 flights.
