Mobile Opens Disaster Readiness Survey

MOBILE, Ala. — Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson has announced that the City of Mobile is collecting information about the readiness of local organizations, utilities, businesses and other partners to better prepare for and respond to disaster events via a survey. “Our goal is to understand the needs and available services of local stakeholders so we can work together more efficiently leading up to, during and after manmade or natural disasters,” he said. “Some organizations or businesses may need additional support during those kinds of events, while others may have the exact resources and skills needed to serve others. If you think one of those applies to your organization, we want to hear from you.”
