Mobile Releases First Public Safety Overview

The City of Mobile has released its first Public Safety Overview highlighting the work of the Mobile Police Department and Mobile Fire-Rescue Department. The 40-page PDF file describes programs focused on crime prevention and mitigation, youth services and mentorship, homelessness and mental health support, resilience initiatives and more. “Through innovative and nationally recognized programs and initiatives, the Public Safety Department is also working to prevent crime, serve victims and support vulnerable members of the community,” Mayor Sandy Stimpson said.
