New Executive Director For MAA

The Mobile Airport Authority (MAA) has announced that G. Anderson “Andy” Wilson is its new executive director. Wilson, a 40-year industry veteran, joins MAA after serving as director of aviation at Hill International, where he oversaw implementation of solutions like video analytics for passenger management. Prior to his time at Hill, Wilson served as chief development officer for Aerostar Airport Holdings and oversaw the transition of Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in Puerto Rico. MAA Board Chairman Elliot Maisel said Wilson has had “a well-regarded career spanning every aspect of airport management. He is no stranger to our organization and served as a consultant in the building of the Authority’s FAA-approved Master Plan. The board is confident that [Wilson’s] experience and relationships will add great value to the team as we take on this next phase of growth.” The move immediately followed the resignation of MAA President Chris Curry, who served in the role for seven years.
