New Fairhope Mayor to Prioritize Infrastructure, Reorganization

Newly elected Fairhope Mayor Sherry Sullivan will prioritize continuing city infrastructure improvements and reorganizing the Fairhope municipal workforce, GulfCoastNewsToday.com reported. Each council member has prioritized infrastructure, she said — specifically, recreational opportunities and a master plan for recreation. Projects underway include sewer upgrades and an electric substation. A new project stems from a city council approval from August to award $585,000 to Equix Energy Services to improve unprotected natural gas lines. In a reorganization of the city workforce, in which she was employed for 17 years, she intends to use employees to the best of their abilities.
