New Gulf Shores Flights Canceled
Refunds have reportedly been issued for Southeast Beach Express flights due to low booking for flights to Gulf Shores’ Jack Edwards National Airport in Gulf Shores, according to AL.com. Southeast Beach Express founder Jay Taffet said that a significant part of beach lodging being unavailable due to hurricane damage and a national rental car shortage contributed to the cancellation of the service. However, there are intentions to begin the flights back next year. Ultimate Air Shuttle had planned to operate the flights, which were to depart Baton Rouge, Atlanta and Nashville daily between Thursday and Sunday.
