New Wave Buses Rolling In

Mobile has received the first of several new buses for The Wave Transit System’s fleet to arrive over the next year. Mayor Sandy Stimpson explained that, this month, the city should have four of the new, 35-foot-long buses in operation. In the next fiscal year, the system will have the funding to purchase five more new buses to continue modernizing its fleet. The news follows expanded payment options for fares featuring new cards and an app (Wave Transit Goes Digital).
