Groundbreaking recently took place for the new Ono Island Fire Station No. 4, GulfCoastNewsToday.com reported. It will be constructed by MW Rogers Construction Co. and was designed by McCollough Architecture of Orange Beach to withstand 175 mph wind speeds. It will include six bunk rooms, a private office, an emergency medical service room, two apparatus bays and storage space.
