Saraland Opens Event Center

The City of Saraland recently completed its Municipal Complex with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new Saraland Event Center. The event center, adjacent to the city’s Municipal Complex along Highway 43, represents the final phase of the city’s Municipal Complex development. It offers more than 25,000 ft2 of flexible event space designed to host a range of functions including conferences, weddings, performances, meetings and community events. The facility features three event spaces designed to accommodate both small and large gatherings. The 1,700-ft2 Delta Room can host up to 80 guests. The 1,900-ft2 Jubilee Room, with exclusive access to an outdoor patio, can accommodate up to 120 guests. The largest space, the Genesis Room, offers 19,000 ft2 and can host up to 1,100 seated or up to 1,800 standing guests. The event center is available for public rentals, offering a new option for local organizations, businesses and residents seeking a venue for meetings, celebrations and community events. The completion of the municipal complex represents a total investment of approximately $6.6 million, including the city’s $4.6-million purchase of the property and an additional $2 million invested in renovations funded through municipal bonds. Residents and organizations interested in hosting an event can learn more about booking opportunities and upcoming events here.
