Silverhill Heritage Festival Day Coming Up
The 40th Annual Silverhill Heritage Day Festival is taking place on April 26 in Silverhill’s downtown area at Highways 104 and 55, Mullet Wrapper reports. The festival will kick off with a 5K race hosted by Christian Faith Assembly Church at 8 a.m. Opening ceremonies will begin at 9 a.m. The parade will start at 10 a.m., and the festival will continue until 4 p.m. It will feature food trucks and more than 50 arts and crafts vendors. There will be a free children’s play area, and live music performances will begin around 11 a.m. Bus tours will be offered every hour for those interested in touring the town’s historical buildings.
