Spanish Fort Announces Christmas Events

SPANISH FORT, Ala — The City of Spanish Fort is kicking off Christmas in the Fort at the Spanish Fort Community Center with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting & Movie Night on December 4 at 5 p.m. Light refreshments will be served, and live music will lead the community in Christmas carols. Afterward, families are invited to join the city and the Spanish Fort Public Library for a short family holiday film. On December 10 at 6 p.m., “The Spirit of Christmas” parade will begin at the Eastern Shore Centre at 6 p.m. Applications to join the parade are available. Finally, on December 15 at 6 p.m., the ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas book reading will commence at the Spanish Fort Community Center. Children are encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas and bring their coziest blankets to snuggle, while Christmas carols are sung and holiday stories are read.
