Anchor Cross Cancer Foundation Opens In Daphne

The Anchor Cross Cancer Foundation recently held a ribbon cutting celebrating its newly dedicated entrance and space in Southern Cancer Center of Daphne. The community-based nonprofit is dedicated to easing the financial burden faced by cancer patients so they can focus on healing. Serving individuals and families throughout South Alabama, Anchor Cross provides direct financial assistance to cancer patients in Baldwin and Mobile counties, regardless of where they receive treatment. Funding is made possible largely through the foundation’s signature annual fundraiser, the Anchor Cross Cancer Foundation Masquerade Ball, scheduled for June 13. The organization said that by working closely within a cancer care environment, it remains connected to the real-time needs of patients undergoing active treatment.
