Baldwin Bone & Joint Announces Community Education Events

Daphne-based Baldwin Bone & Joint returns with its Community Education Series in September and October in both Spanish Fort and Orange Beach. Dr. Andrew McGee, an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacements, will present two complimentary Lunch and Learn events on “Getting Back in the Game with Hip & Knee Replacement – Understanding the Process: When to Choose, What to Expect & Keys to Effective Recovery.” The first will be held on September 24 at 12:30 p.m. at the Spanish Fort Express YMCA. Reservations may be made by calling 251-281-8781 by September 17. The second will be on October 17 at 11 a.m. at the Orange Beach Senior Center. Reservations may be made by calling 251-424-1988 by October 13. McGee earned an undergraduate degree with honors at Auburn University, followed by medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). After finishing his orthopaedic surgery residency at UAB Medical Center, he completed a hip and knee fellowship at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. McGee is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
