Cardiology Associates Operating U.S.-First CT Scanner

Cardiology Associates announced it is the first practice in the U.S. to have installed and activated the General Electric Co. (GE) HealthCare Revolution Vibe CT scanner. The Revolution Vibe is GE HealthCare’s latest cardiac CT technology, offering sharper imaging and faster scan times. For patients, that means clearer pictures of the heart and arteries—helping doctors detect and diagnose cardiovascular disease earlier and with greater confidence. More than two decades ago, Cardiology Associates helped introduce coronary CT angiography into private practice. The Revolution Vibe is now in active clinical use.
