Carter Joins Gulf Orthopaedics

Gulf Orthopaedics, an affiliate of Infirmary Health, recently hired Dr. Joey Carter, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. Carter received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, where he also completed his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the Alabama Orthopaedic Society. Prior to becoming an orthopedic surgeon, Carter was a trained veterinarian. He has practiced in Baldwin County for more than 20 years.
