Cindy Haber Center Breaks Ground On New Location

Cindy Haber Center, Inc. board of directors and staff have announced the construction of a new office building at 1452 Government Street in Mobile. Dawn Roley Lindsey is the executive director. Cindy Haber Center contracts with the Alabama Department of Mental Health to provide support coordination services for people who have been diagnosed with intellectual disabilities. Cindy Haber Center originated in Baldwin County in 1994, and its services in Mobile County began in February 2019. It provides service coordination in the following counties: Baldwin, Clarke, Washington, Mobile, Escambia, Monroe, Conecuh, Perry, Dallas, Wilcox, Geneva, Lowndes, Greene, Hale, Marengo, Choctaw and Sumter. The center has a staff of 45, and services are provided to approximately 500 people who meet the criteria for a diagnosis of intellectual disabilities. The center is currently located at 1306 Government Street.
