Construction To Begin On Baldwin County ASC

BALWIN COUNTY, Ala. — USA Health held a ceremonial groundbreaking this week to mark the start of construction for a freestanding ambulatory surgery center (ASC) at the Mapp Family Campus in Baldwin County, at the intersection of Highways 181 and 104 near Fairhope. The Alabama Certificate of Need Review Board unanimously approved the project last year. USA Health has been working with Surgery Partners, HHRE, Walcott Adams Verneuille Architects and the KPS Group to design the facility. Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is the general contractor. USA Health anticipates opening the physician office building in fall 2022 and the ASC in approximately a year.
