Howard Cox Joins Infirmary Health

Dr. Howard Cox, a podiatrist with more than 25 years of experience, has joined Diagnostic & Medical Clinic (DMC), an affiliate of Infirmary Health. As a board-certified podiatrist, Cox specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions and injuries that affect the foot. Using both surgical and nonsurgical treatment, he treats common conditions such as plantar fasciitis, foot complications from diabetes, tendonitis, bunions, nail disorders and more. He will see patients at Diagnostic & Medical Clinic | Northside in Saraland. Cox earned his doctorate of podiatric medicine from the University of Osteopathic Medicine & Health Sciences. He completed a rotating podiatric residency with American Lake VA Medical Center and a podiatric surgical residency with Green River Surgery Center. He is board-certified in podiatry by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Cox operated a podiatry clinic in rural Iowa for more than 20 years before relocating to Alabama.
