Infirmary Health And UHC Reach Agreement

Infirmary Health and UnitedHealthcare (UHC) have reached a new, long-term commercial insurance hospital-services contract. Effective immediately, all UHC patients will resume in-network coverage at Infirmary Health hospitals, and any care administered during the period of contract suspension, which began on June 4, will retroactively be covered as in-network. Infirmary Health said it will communicate with affected patients as quickly as possible to ensure they are aware of the new agreement with UHC. Additionally, care for those patients at Infirmary Health hospitals and hospital-owned facilities is no longer impacted.
