Infirmary Health Cuts Ribbon On Baldwin County Infusion Center

Infirmary Health and Infirmary Cancer Care officially cut the ribbon on the newest infusion center for patient care in Baldwin County. With the addition of the oncology offices at the Malbis Medical Office Building on Highway 90 in Daphne, Infirmary Health now has five cancer care facilities in Mobile and Baldwin counties. In this 10,000-ft2 facility, four medical oncologists and three advanced practice providers work together alongside cancer pharmacists, oncology nurses, an in-house lab team and other support staff. Additionally, physicians participate in 17 multidisciplinary tumor boards jointly with the University of Alabama at Birmingham O’Neal Cancer Center. The facility offers patients 10 infusion chairs for cancer-related treatments, as well as six clinic rooms for various services, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, certain cellular therapies and monoclonal antibody therapy/biologic therapy.
