MOBILE, Ala. — Infirmary Health recently announced the Gulf Coast region’s first use of the OCTARAY Mapping Catheter in a procedure by Dr. Thomas Turnage, II, electrophysiologist with Diagnostic & Medical Clinic in Mobile and the electrophysiology team at Mobile Infirmary’s Heart and Vascular Institute. This technology greatly increases the efficiency of 3D mapping of the heart, while also increasing the precision of locating and identifying complex arrhythmias during radiofrequency ablations and decreasing the length of the procedure time.
