Lopez Joins DMC

Dr. Carmen Lopez, a fellowship-trained gastroenterologist, joins Diagnostic and Medical Clinic (DMC). She specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the digestive tract (esophagus, stomach and intestines). She uses surgical and nonsurgical treatment methods for common diseases such as acid reflux, peptic ulcers, colitis, irritable bowel syndrome and colon cancer screenings. Additionally, Lopez will conduct exploratory and therapeutic procedures. Lopez is a graduate of Duke University with a BS in mathematics. She earned her doctorate from the University of South Alabama and completed her residency in internal medicine with Tulane University. Following her residency, Lopez completed a fellowship with the University of Cincinnati. She is board-certified in internal medicine. Lopez will see patients at DMC’s location on Springhill Avenue in Mobile.
