Many More Miles Campaign Named Finalist For Philanthropic Project Of The Year

Baldwin Bone & Joint has announced that its Many More Miles Campaign was recently selected as a finalist for Business Alabama’s Philanthropic Project of the Year. The annual community shoe drive collected a record-breaking 5,000 pairs of footwear last year to help those in need. Partners in this expanding initiative, now in its 21st consecutive year, include Baldwin County Public Schools, City Hope Church, St. Michael Catholic High School and Bayshore Christian School. Participating Baldwin County schools this year include Fairhope East Elementary, Fairhope West Elementary, J. Larry Newton Elementary, Rockwell Elementary, Spanish Fort Elementary, Spanish Fort Middle, Bayshore Christian, Bayside Academy and St. Michael Catholic High School. Students will again be rewarded for collecting the most shoes, with money going toward their schools’ physical education equipment. Baldwin Bone & Joint’s offices in Daphne, Spanish Fort and Foley serve as primary dropoff locations. Others participating include White-Spunner Realty, McCoy Outdoors and the USA Student Recreation Center.
