MCHD Data And Updates Announced

With the new rise in COVID-19 cases in the Mobile area, the Mobile County Health Department (MCHD) has released patient characteristics data compiled by MCHD that will be produced Mondays through Fridays. The expanded weekly report will only be produced each Monday. A daily dashboard is also available. In addition, MCHD is making changes to its services. Family Health, the primary care division of MCHD, is temporarily closing its Dauphin Island Parkway Health Center at 2601 Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile. Medical services will be moved to other Family Health locations. To make an appointment, call 251-690-8889. Additionally, MCHD’s COVID-19 Response Team is canceling all previously announced outreach events planned for January. Efforts will be focused on providing vaccinations and testing at Suite 101-A in the Festival Centre at the corner of Airport Boulevard and Montlimar Drive. The hours at this location for Monday through Friday have been extended and are now 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Both services remain available on Saturdays at 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
