Mobile County Board Of Health Elects Officers For 2025

The Mobile County Board of Health elected its officers for 2025, according to Dr. Kevin Michaels, health officer for Mobile County. Dr. Minh Pham will serve as chairman of the Board of Health. Dr. Sudeep Rao, a new member, is taking on the role of secretary. Returning members include Dr. Brandon F. Bodie, Dr. Danuel J. Laan, Dr. Caroline E. McGugin and Dr. Michael L. Sternberg, along with Mobile County Commission President Merceria L. Ludgood. The outgoing member of the board is Dr. De’Arco R. McCreary, who received a plaque in appreciation from Michaels. The board includes six physicians serving on the Medical Society of Mobile County’s Board of Censors and the current president of the Mobile County Commission. It meets monthly to review Mobile County Health Department activities and to provide guidance to Alabama’s oldest public health agency.
