Mobile Infirmary Coo Named To AlaHA Board Of Trustees

Mobile Infirmary Chief Operating Officer (COO) Ben Hansert has been elected to the Alabama Hospital Association (AlaHA) Board of Trustees as a member at large. The election took place during AlaHA’s recent annual meeting. Hansert began his healthcare career as a registered respiratory therapist at Mobile Infirmary and has advanced through a series of leadership positions, including executive director of Infirmary Medical Clinics; president of North Baldwin Infirmary; and, since 2021, COO. A longtime supporter of AlaHA’s mission, Hansert previously served three terms as president of the Southwest Regional Council and has contributed his leadership through service on numerous healthcare and community organizations. As a member at large of the AlaHA Board of Trustees, Hansert will work alongside fellow board members to help guide the association’s efforts to support hospitals and improve healthcare for communities across Alabama. Founded in 1921, AlaHA represents hospitals and health systems across the state and works to improve healthcare through advocacy, education and member services.
