Mobile Infirmary, an affiliate of Infirmary Health, has been named the No. 3 hospital in Alabama in U.S. News & World Report’s 2026-2027 Best Hospitals rankings, placing it among the state’s highest-performing hospitals. Mobile Infirmary tied for the No. 3 position on the Best Regional Hospitals list and is one of only six hospitals in Alabama to earn a statewide ranking this year. Mobile Infirmary also received “High Performing” ratings in nine procedures and conditions: back surgery (spinal fusion), diabetes, heart arrhythmia, heart attack, heart failure, hip replacement, lung cancer surgery, pacemaker implantation and prostate cancer surgery. The ratings recognize outstanding performance of care across cardiovascular services, cancer surgery, orthopedics and the management of complex medical conditions. Mobile Infirmary also earned recognition in U.S. News & World Report’s new Regional Specialty rankings.
