Mobile Infirmary Named To List Of Top Regional Hospitals

Mobile Infirmary has been recognized as one of the best hospitals in Southern Alabama and one of the top four in the state by U.S. News & World Report in its 2024-25 Best Hospitals rankings. Additionally, it achieved a record number of eight high-performing specialty designations: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, colon cancer surgery, heart attack, heart failure, hip replacement, leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma, lung cancer surgery and prostate cancer surgery. To help patients begin their search for care, U.S. News & World Report generates hospital rankings by evaluating data on nearly 5,000 hospitals. It says a hospital must excel in caring for the sickest, most medically complex patients to be nationally ranked in a specialty.
