New Optometrist For Southern Eye Group

SPANISH FORT, Ala. — Southern Eye Group recently added optometrist Dr. Salmedina Alic to the practice, effective November 1. Alic received her BS in biology from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, where she also went on to receive her doctor of optometry degree. Alic then completed her residency program in ocular disease at the W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center. Alic has a special interest in patients with low-vision needs, as well as treating and managing ocular disease. She will practice out of Southern Eye Group’s Saraland and Spanish Fort offices.
